Awards

In presenting this award the OPGA seeks to honor these individuals in their contributions to the game of golf, their spirit, their qualities as a human being and their attitude towards the game and those who enjoy it.  These qualities include: respect for the game and it's rules, a generosity of spirit, a sense of fair play, self-control and perhaps even self-sacrifice.  Their sportsmanship may be evidenced by their conduct over many years or by a single act.  It is for these reasons the OPGA wishes to identify, celebrate and hold up for emulation the recipients of this award.
